OLD Rules and Guidelines

  • If you are new to the game, and don't have many add-on tracks, please note.    We want to meet and race with you, and don't mind running a occasional stock track or two.  We do however want to race the add-on tracks as they are much better.
  • If you want to race just stock tracks, there are plenty available rooms and teams on the zone for that.  If you want to race with us you'll have to get the tracks.  Everymonth we have a track list of about a dozen great tracks in a special sort at KC's MTM Place.
    • You got to be at least 30
  • Remember that if you don't have the members trucks, you will see all Bearfoots.  Most member's trucks are available at here or at OLD_Mouse's SMP Creations Page
  • On Monday's we have an Event called Monday Night Raw, It's great fun CLICK HERE for details.
  • Between races, please minimize your game (F4) and check your zonefriend's list to see if any other OLD members are waiting to get in.  You can ask them if they want in, just remember to set ZF's to "show me online" and the other OLD dude can answer and won't be waiting very long.
  • When racing multi-player, it seems that game will run best if you close your browser, ICQ, webshots and any other programs not needed.  This especially applies if you have a slower computer and connection.
  • If more than 6 players, please split into 2 rooms.  The quality of the game unfortunately deteriorates with any more players.  Try to team-up with the members you can keep up with.
  • It helps to occasionally change rooms after racing in the zone for awhile.  Especially if you change host.  Also the host should be the person with the fastest connection.
  • We try not to race dirty.     --Trading Paint and "closing the door" are ok but we try not to knock the other player off the track.  At the starts, please give a second for the truck in front of you to get going.  Sometimes the games do not sync right away, if you hit the truck in front of you you will most likely send him flying off the track.
  • Don't be afraid to stop and let the other racers catch-up.  It's more enjoyable to run together, with a few trucks, and it really sucks to have to race 15 mins. by yourself.  Especially if someone knocks you out at the start.
  • We are all very competitive and want to win.  Remember THIS IS JUST A GAME!!!!  If you win you don't get no money, no trophies, no nothing.  So don't be a sore loser!!
  • All team members are expected to follow the zone's code of conduct when in the zone lobby or in any special tournament events.

    • PLEASE DON'T GIVE OUR TEAM A BAD NAME!!!!

    • Please remember that there all young kids that play this game too.

  • Most importantly, Have Fun, and be a:

"Proud Member of Team OLD"!

The Old team is a great bunch of guys (& few gals).  If you have any questions about MTM any of them will help you.

We have a great time, everyone is highly competitive so expect some great action.

Just one last thing.....if you are another snot nosed 13 year old trying to get in, forget it.   It'll be just too easy for us to tell, and to make a fool of you....so please don't waste my time.  I spend allot of time on the OLD website, and don't want to bother putting your info up, just to find out I have to take it down, cause you're not old enough.

There are plenty of great teams out there for the younger MTM'ers.

You have to be at least 30 to join Team OLD!

Final Four Raced in Indiana

The final four raced the last round of competition for a new Toyota Tundra truck. Ivan_Awfulitch, RIP_Behihm, RIP_Buzz and RIP_MAKO each won a slot in the finals. On June 18, these 4 finalists flew to Indiana for a chance to win a real Tundra at the Toyota manufacturing plant.

Congratulations to RIP_Buzz from all of us!  We all had a great time trying!
